It was always you

THEN Our story goes way back and begins in 2003, when I (Erin) moved to Carver, MN, just a block away from Billy. 5th grade began and we were in the same classes for the majority of the time. There were much shenanigans and laughter, and if you ask Billy he’ll whine that I kicked him in the shins too much and it confused him, but HELLO! I was an awkward 5th grader trying to say I LIKE you a lot. He expected me to say that OUTLOUD?!! From then on we grew up very close. From me, breaking curfew to be able to play outside just a little bit longer, and the many times we would hog the home phone. As we grew up we drifted in and out of each other's lives, but we always kept in touch, Knowing whatever each other where going through we could lean on each other and check in on each other.

Fast forward to now, our paths finally aligned and we decided to give this childhood love thing another try. Our relationship grew effortlessly as if we had been together for years, as effortlessly as it was there were still hardships but seeing each other’s hardships and helping each other through them made us love each other more for it, not less. There is not a day that goes by that we don’t giggle and belly laugh at each other, and not a day goes by where I (Erin) don’t feel loved and supported by this man. We can’t recall the exact moment we realized/said we loved one another because we realized we have always loved each other.

A year and a half into dating, Billy (with the help of my mom, Michelle) planned THE PROPOSAL in front of our family and friends, which I had NO idea about. He entered the party with our song playing and holding a bouquet of roses. I still oblivious and playing corn hole, was startled by a bouquet of roses in my face and Billy down on one knee. A very shocked and tear-filled YES later, here we are. Getting married May 8th, 2021 and we are so excited to see all of you there to help us celebrate this day!
