When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please let us know on or before Friday, May 12, 2023. You can RSVP here on our website, or by calling/texting Tom or Ali. RSVPs will open in early 2023. The hotel room blocks are available for booking until May 18, 2023.

Where are the ceremony and reception?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 6pm, please plan to arrive prior to the start time. Both the ceremony and the reception will take place at the same venue, McPherson Cellars. We will see you there! 1615 TEXAS AVE, LUBBOCK, TX 79401

Will we be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place outdoors on a shaded patio (don't worry, it will be quick!), while the rest of the evening will be held indoors. Temperatures in Texas in early June can range from 75 F° to over 100 F°! The good news is that the humidity is generally very low in West Texas. Please make sure to check the weather.

Is there a dress code for the ceremony/reception?
Answer
Summer Cocktail Attire: Wear a cocktail dress, sundress, button down shirt or polo with slacks (jackets optional). Add a Texas flair with boots, and don't be afraid to get colorful! Be aware of the weather and staying cool in the dry West Texas heat.

What should I expect after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking a few pictures for around an hour. Guests can mingle at the venue (inside or outside!) where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 7 pm, with dancing to follow.

What is on the menu for food and drinks?
Answer
We will have snacks and drinks available during the cocktail hour. Then, we hope you will enjoy some delicious Texas BBQ for dinner! This will include, salad, brisket, turkey, broccoli, white cheddar mac and cheese, and some sweet treats. The drinks will flow freely, and you can select from wines from McPherson Cellars, a selection of beer, and some non-alcoholic beverages!

Yes! Please let us know ASAP and we will make every attempt to accommodate your request.
Question
Will live streaming options be available of the ceremony if I am unable to attend?
Answer
Yes! Please look for the "Virtual Ceremony" event on the "Schedule" page of this website to allow those who are unable to travel to be a part of our special day. The streaming of our ceremony will be via Zoom.
Question
For the ceremony and reception, is parking available?
Answer
A private parking lot is available at McPherson Cellars. The parking lot will be locked one hour after the conclusion of our event, so it is not recommended to plan to leave your vehicle in this lot. Free street parking is also available in the area (called The Depot District). Taxis and ride sharing are available in Lubbock as well: Checker Cab, Lyft, Uber, Yellow Cab.

Will the bride be changing her surname?
Answer
She will not! She shall keep her name as it is, Ali Luempert. And the groom will also keep his name, Tom Mullen.
