We met in 2008 as high school freshman and became friends throughout our time at MCC. We shared late night phone calls from time to time but the majority of our relationship was AJ copying my homework before class each day. In 2015, after going on a few dates, AJ called me his girlfriend to which I responded "you never asked me to be" and in normal AJ fashion, he responded "Are we in middle school? What do you want to do to make it official, fist bump?" I don't think either of us thought we would end up here that night, but we are so excited to be getting married nearly 10 years later.
