FAQs

Question

When should I arrive in San Juan?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 1–2 days before the wedding to allow time for travel, rest, and exploring. Especially for friends and family arriving from NY, be cautious of weather / snow storms.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are in Old San Juan. Taxis, Uber, and walking are all convenient options. The ceremony and reception are within a 10 minute walking distance. Transportation is not provided. If you're renting a vehicle, parking is available for the ceremony, there isn't onsite parking for the reception site, nearby public parking options are available, and we kindly ask that you plan accordingly.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are many hotels and Airbnb options nearby. We recommend staying in the neighboring areas of San Juan, such as Isla verde Old San Juan or Condado if you want to be close by.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We are excited to celebrate with our loved ones! To keep the gathering intimate, our celebration is for adults and select children from immediate family only. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

When should we RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by November 15th so we can finalize our headcount and details with our vendors.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly ask that you only bring the guest(s) listed on your invitation. Due to space and planning, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests. Thank you so much for understanding, we can’t wait to celebrate with you

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We’d love to see our guests in colorful, light fabrics to match the tropical San Juan setting. Ladies: flowy dresses in breathable fabrics like linen, cotton, or silk. Gentlemen: linen or cotton suits shirts and slacks. Comfort is key, so dress for warm weather and lots of dancing!

Question

What is the nearest airport?

Answer

The closest airport is Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in San Juan

Question

Are there hotel room blocks?

Answer

We recommend booking early. While we don’t have a formal room block, nearby hotels and Airbnbs in Old San Juan and Condado are excellent options.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in and enjoy the ceremony without rushing.

Question

Getting from the Ceremony to the Reception

Answer

The reception is a short 5minute drive (or roughly a 10 minute walk) from the ceremony site. We recommend allowing extra time for traffic and to enjoy some leisurely moments during the cocktail hour before the celebration begins.

Question

When should I book my flight / hotel ?

Answer

We recommend booking your flights and accommodations as early as possible to secure the best rates and availability. Since our wedding is taking place in a popular destination, hotels and flights may fill up quickly.
