We met while out in Charlotte one Friday night. We both did not even want to go out with friends that night. David had work the next morning, and Emily's "Girls Night In" led her out. We met through a mutual friend that night. We were soon inseparable. It still amazes us that we grew up 15 minutes away from each other our whole lives and never met until then. We are thankful that we both ended up going out with friends, as now our greatest adventures are yet to come!

At Jetton Park at the end of November, I was tricked into going on a COLD walk with my niece and family. I thought we were going to let her play on the playground and take pictures in the beautiful fall trees. As we were walking, I saw David and, our puppy, Remi down by the lake. She had a sign that read, "Will you be my furever human?" I ran to David as he got down on one knee. We were shaking with excitement as I said YES! We are so excited to share this next adventure with you all!
