The Montour trail is the nation's longest suburban rail-trail and our favorite place for long walks and conversation. There are many trail entrances throughout the Pittsburgh area, perfect for running, biking, or walking. This trail entrance is conveniently located next to The Tandem Connection, offering bicycle rentals and ice cream/refreshments. Visit the Montour Trail website for trail maps and additional information.
Little Tokyo is our favorite sushi spot in Pittsburgh. It’s also where we went on our first date! Little Tokyo's specialized menu also includes hibachi, tempura, udon noodles, and teriyaki, as well as a varied selection of wines, Japanese beer, and sake.
The Carnegie Museum of Art and Natural History is another place we went to on our first date, and later, where we became engaged! Needless to say, it is a very special place for us. We hope you enjoy the museum's stunning collection of art and intriguing natural history exhibits.
Senti is one of our favorite restaurants in the city and has become a Valentine's Day date night tradition for us. We recommend the Bruschetta di Funghi (Lucy's favorite) and the Petto d'Oca (Zack's favorite), followed by an affogato or tiramisu!
For our guests with little ones, Pittsburgh's award-winning Children's Museum includes a variety of hands-on, interactive exhibits that aim to inspire creativity, kindness, joy, and curiosity. For more information on ticketing and hours, visit the Museum's website.
