Lucy visited Richmond for the first time and unexpectedly spent Thanksgiving with the Sherrills only a month into dating.

It wasn’t until we were separated by Covid unexpectedly at the end of our senior year then reunited in Charlotte that we made the jump from friends to dating.

We took each other to a few formals and date parties as friends throughout our time at Davidson.

By junior year, we were good friends and had many Econ classes together.

We met freshman year at Davidson and shared many of the same friends for the first two years of college.
