We’re getting married!

We only told our friends at the beginning, but once we were engaged we felt comfortable telling everyone: we met on Tinder, both seeking a friendship and after a friendship became established it became something more. Vincent was kind, cultured, well-mannered, and gentlemanly. He showed me what I deserved. He is my very best friend.

Vincent knew I always dreamed of getting proposed to during Christmastime and I hinted that at him from time to time, especially in the summer and fall 2020. One day in December we went on a walk to a spot we had gone to often in Clemson, at a lake. His friend Sean came along. The sun was setting and it was so beautiful. I had a feeling it was going to happen but my heart was still beating so fast. We got to the edge of the lake, he held my hand. Next thing I know he is getting down on one knee, telling me how much he’s loved the past three years with me, and he asked me to marry him. It was the easiest yes of my life! Sean took the pictures!
