Our wedding will take place at Brown Family Homestead near Lake Wenatchee, Washington. The venue is approximately: 35-40 minutes from downtown Leavenworth 2.5 hours from Seattle (traffic dependent) Please plan extra travel time if driving over Stevens Pass on a Friday afternoon.
Dress code: Garden Party Attire Think elevated Pacific Northwest summer evening. We recommend semi-formal outdoor attire that is comfortable for walking on grass, gravel, and uneven terrain. Midi/maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, slacks, button-downs, lightweight suits, and sport coats are all great options. Please avoid stilettos if possible. Block heels, wedges, boots, flats, or dress sandals are recommended. Mountain evenings near Lake Wenatchee can cool down quickly after sunset, so we also encourage guests to bring a jacket or extra layer.
Our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. We recommend checking the weather before traveling and preparing for warm daytime temperatures and cooler mountain evenings.
While we absolutely adore your little ones, our ceremony and reception will be adults only, with the exception of our niece, who will be joining us as our flower girl. Children are welcome to attend other wedding weekend events where noted. We truly appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
Late August in the Lake Wenatchee area is typically warm during the day and cooler in the evenings. Daytime temperatures are often in the upper 70s to mid 80s, while nighttime temperatures can drop significantly after sunset. Mountain weather can change quickly, so layers are encouraged.
