There are a multitude of golf courses St. Andrews has to offer (7 in total). You can book a tee time approximately 12 weeks in advance through the St. Andrews links website. Specifically to play the Old course, you must enter the ballot (lottery) drawn two days ahead of play (except for Sundays and tournament days). You can hire clubs etc at any of the courses!

Blown Away - Beach Activities

Blown Away’s water-sports include Surfing, Kayaking, Stand up Paddling and the Giant SUPs are based at the Shack on West Sands beach, St Andrews at the town end of the beach next to the cafe.
The Beaches
If you like beach walks, St. Andrews has 3 main beaches for you to explore. West Sands ( famous for the opening scenes of the film Chariots of Fire), East Sands (famous for the St. Andrews pier) and Castle Sands.
