Maid of Honor
Margo is Lucy's sister, her partner in crime, and biggest fan. She met Lucy when she was a few hours old, and they've been inseparable ever since. Whether it's cracking up to the point of tears over inside jokes or fawning over the Squish, these two are quite the pair.
Person of Honor
Canaan is Sonoma's best (and most chaotic) friend. Sonoma and Canaan met in high school when Sonoma forced Canaan to have lunch with her and eventually (through Stockholm Syndrome probably) stayed of his own free will.
Maid of Honor
Natalie is Lucy's co-conspirator, partner in crime, and biggest enabler. The two met in high school but became the best of friends when they roomed together freshman year at App State.
Man of Honor
Sawyer is the middle Dixon sibling with an affinity for playing piano, being a little bit bougie, and consistently not answering texts, much to Jill Dixon's dismay. Sawyer has been lucky enough to know Sonoma for his whole life and he has been an occasionally shakeable support system, participating in activities such as driving to rowing together every day, accidentally stabbing Sonoma with a butter knife, jamming out to music in the car, or making time to be available when Sonoma calls for something.
Bridesmaid
Kate and Lucy met in 5th grade when they're moms connected through the Elon Park PTA. Kate convinced Lucy to join the 7th grade field hockey team, thus sparking Lucy's fockey journey throughout high school. Kate and Lucy worked on the AK Yearbook together for 3 years, and remained close friends despite going to different schools.
Man of Honor
Sloan is the youngest and tallest Dixon sibling. Another individual who has been fortunate enough to know Sonoma for his whole life, Sloan has always been an outside-the-box thinker, coming up with brilliant ideas including: completely filling up the glass shower with water to go scuba diving in and locking Jamie Dixon outside out of sheer spite at the ripe age of three. Sloan is an empathetic, passionate person that coordinates sibling video game sessions and is always there if his siblings need something. Sloan is now in flight school and somehow manages to fit in the cockpit even with his elevated height.
Bridesmaid
Tessa met Lucy and Sonoma while working at the App State Student Union as upper classmen. The 3 bonded over love of books, dogs, and Applebees $5 Sips. Tessa was the first to know of Lucy's upcoming proposal to Sonoma.
Bridesmaid
Grace is Sonoma's second cousin on her Dad's side. Though not especially close as children, Grace and Sonoma bonded during a family vacation to the beach in the summer of 2015. Grace was (and is) Sonoma's confidant, supporting her as they navigated sexuality, inter-personal relationships, high school, college, and beyond together.
Bridesmaid
Margaret was one of the first friends Sonoma and Lucy made when moving to Durham in the Summer of 2022. The couple met Margaret when she was bartending at Bull City Ciderworks and figured out that they all lived in the same apartment building. The day after meeting, Lucy and Sonoma went to Margaret's Apartment and hung her photos/art that had been waiting to be hung up since May.
Bridesmaid
Emma and Sonoma met while studying abroad. From traveling the world (mostly Emma telling Sonoma where to go) to fake dating as a creepy old man deterrent to dog-centric FaceTimes, Emma and Sonoma have been an iconic pair for the past six years.
Bridesmaid
Dusty ignited the beginning of the couple's love story by introducing them. Dusty was an RA in Cannon Hall Lucy's freshman year and convinced Lucy to apply to be an RA in the following year. Lucy returned to Cannon Hall the following year as an RA alongside Dusty. Sonoma was a Night Assistant in Cannon Hall the year prior and returned as a Night Assistant Supervisor over the East Campus. Sonoma would frequently come hang out during RA Duty, sparking the couples friendship turned relationship.
Bridesmaid
Kaitlyn is Sonoma's oldest friend of 20 years. The Dixons moved two doors down from the McCarthy/Harris family in June of 2005. Kaitlyn knocked on the Dixon's front door on Sonoma's first day of middle school and helped her find the bus stop, as she had never ridden one before. Though Kaitlyn abandoned Sonoma in middle school for a different educational path, they stayed in contact over the years. Today, Kaitlyn and Sonoma are coworkers, inseparable yapping buddies, and queens of enabling the other to make questionable decisions.
Bridesmaid
Sophia and Sonoma were extra-random roommates freshman year at App State - they each originally had different roommates in different buildings and through various unexpected circumstances ended up being placed together. Through thick and thin (and pickles) they ended up living together for all four years of college.
