HOTELS / RENTALS: We STRONGLY encourage you to book a place in Pioneertown WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE if possible! AND book your stay as early as possible! We also encourage staying in groups! Fall is high season in the larger Joshua Tree area, including Pioneertown. Airbnb and Vrbo have many rentals in both Pioneertown and Yucca Valley (some listed below). While Yucca Valley is only a ten minute drive, the roads are dark and not many ride shares exist out here. No matter where you decide to stay, please book early if possible as things will book FAST! Pioneertown is a 2.5 hour drive from most parts of LA, and a 45 minute drive from Palm Springs Airport. For out-of-towners, we recommend reserving a rental car at your airport-of-choice ahead of time. Unless you fly into Palm Springs or catch a lift with someone who lives in LA, you will likely need to rent a car. While there are taxis/ride shares in the area, they are less prevalent than you are probably used to!

Palm Springs International Airport

If you want to fly to the closest airport to Pioneertown, Palm Springs is the way to go! We'd recommend reserving a rental car ahead of time, or ride-sharing directly to your accommodations from there. It is about a 45 minute drive between the airport and the venue.

Hollywood Burbank Airport

If you're flying into Los Angeles, we recommend Burbank airport if possible. It is on the east side of town and much more manageable to get out of LA via car than from LAX; however, flights are more limited at this airport so check out their flights!
