Lucy and Patrick met in grade school at Holy Spirit School in New Castle, Delaware. They branched out and went to different high schools and colleges. Patrick went to Delaware Military Academy for High School and University of Delaware for Communications and Multi-Media and later, took a semester at Berklee School College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Lucy went to Baltimore International College for Culinary Arts and traveled internationally to cook overseas. She was classically trained in music by her parents since birth and a well-known teacher at Saint Mark's High School. As they got older, their extra-curricular activities were playing in bands and solo acoustic projects in the Tri-State area. 2018-Trolley Square at Kelly Logan House, Lucy was out with friends and spotted Patrick on stage with his band. After their set was over, Lucy made her way up to the stage and approached Patrick and asked, "Are you Patrick Daniels?" He said, "Yeah." She said, "Do you know who I am?" He said, "Yes, Lucy Matos." It was an awkward silence, so Lucy walked away to the bar and Patrick walked off stage. Lucy and her friends left the bar and later found that Patrick was looking for her after he put his guitar away. They both went home alone that night. Months passed, while Lucy was seeing Patrick looking at her Facebook page and liking everything and commenting. Patrick messaged her a year later to see if she wanted to come out to see his band and she said she was busy. The timing was never right for these two. Until… In November 2020, Lucy saw Patrick's profile and saw how insanely gorgeous he was and saw that he had a child named Logan. She reached out to him and said, "Would you want to grab a drink sometime?" Patrick said, "Yes." A couple of days went by, and Lucy just thought he was being nice and didn't hear from him. Finally, after about a week, he messaged her to see if she wanted to meet up at Bellefonte Brewery. She accepted and they had a nice first date out. They hugged and went on their way. Later that night, they both followed-up with each other and knew they had something special. The last few years entailed picnics and play time with Patrick’s son, Logan, spontaneous lunch and dinner dates, concerts, and playing music together.
