FAQs

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be formal attire and will take place outdoors. We recommend bringing an extra layer for the evening.

Question

How can I reserve a room?

Answer

We have reserved the entire lodge and have accommodations for everyone. To confirm your accommodation, you can call the resort at +1 406-837-4391 (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm MST) or email (sales@flatheadlakelodge.com) and pay the $200 USD/person deposit. Be sure to mention you’re attending Lucy & Nicholas’ wedding (October 2–5). You won’t be able to book a specific room, but if you have a preference for a cabin or a lodge room please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Question

What kind of activities are offered at the lodge?

Answer

The lodge offers a wide range of activities included with our stay: horseback riding, pickleball, mountain biking, archery, fishing, pinzgauer tour, rock climbing, yoga, boating, plenty of water sports, and more! You can find a full list of activities here: https://www.flatheadlakelodge.com/adventures/

Question

Can I come stay at the lodge before/after the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, the lodge is completely booked out for the year. Hence, we are unable to accommodate early arrivals / late departures. If you would like to spend more time in the region, we recommend looking into accommodations in Whitefish, MT, or near Glacier National Park.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one? Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to the limited space, we can only accommodate the people and children included in your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Will there be discounted room rates available for the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Pricing is based on a per-person rate for each room, not a flat rate for the entire room: Cabins: $400 USD/person/night - Standalone log cabins ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom units Lodge Rooms: $320 USD/person/night - Historic rooms located in the heart of the ranch, dating back to the 1930s with easy access to the Main Lodge's amenities

Question

If I prefer to stay off the property, where would you recommend?

Answer

While we’d love for everyone to stay together at the lodge and enjoy the full weekend experience as a group, we understand that alternative accommodations might be preferred. If you'd like to explore other options, consider: Mountain Lake Lodge, Bridge Street Cottages, the Inn on Bigfork Bay, or one of the many Airbnb's and vacation rentals nearby. Please note that daytime resort activities and meals are exclusive to lodge guests.
