Check out the Nantucket Landbank's website to find a great walk near you. The Nantucket Land Bank has tons of public lands to explore https://www.nantucketlandbank.org/properties-map/, as does the Nantucket Conservation Foundation: https://www.nantucketconservation.org/properties/trail-guides-and-maps/ (The Field Station and Tupancy Links are two favorites!)
In our opinion, the best way to see the island is by bike! That way you can pull over and explore all of the beautiful nature preserves. Lucy highly recommends a ride on the Polpis bike path. If you're on island Thursday afternoon and want to meet up for a ride, let us know!
Order a fried seafood platter for lunch or dinner and take a walk in the creeks right in front of Sayle's. One platter feeds two people! (It includes chowder, fried clams, bay scallops, shrimp, and cod, french fries, and coleslaw). A must eat!
Just down the road from the farm! Locals & tourists love it so.
This is the go to for a hangover breakfast. You must have at least one sugar donut, and one chocolate donut. Them's the rules.
Romantic bistro for a nice dinner out.
Delicious wood-fired pizza.
Great sandwiches: highly recommend the Turkey Terrific.
A year-round family restaurant.
