Jethro Coffin House - Oldest House

Jethro Coffin House - Oldest House

16 Sunset Hill, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 228-1894

Lucy's favorite historical site. Worth a tour!

Explore a Nature Preserve

Explore a Nature Preserve

Check out the Nantucket Landbank's website to find a great walk near you. The Nantucket Land Bank has tons of public lands to explore https://www.nantucketlandbank.org/properties-map/, as does the Nantucket Conservation Foundation: https://www.nantucketconservation.org/properties/trail-guides-and-maps/ (The Field Station and Tupancy Links are two favorites!)

Whaling Museum

Whaling Museum

13 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 228-1894

For the history buffs among us: a must see.

Young's Bicycle Shop

Young's Bicycle Shop

6 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 228-1151

In our opinion, the best way to see the island is by bike! That way you can pull over and explore all of the beautiful nature preserves. Lucy highly recommends a ride on the Polpis bike path. If you're on island Thursday afternoon and want to meet up for a ride, let us know!

Siasconset

Siasconset

Nantucket, MA

'Sconset will most likely be a ghost town, but you'll get the idea. In the 1930s it was a hip artist colony. Take a stroll around the adorable whaling cottages, and do the bluff walk down to Sankaty for gorgeous views through some lovely landscapes.

Madaket

Madaket

Nantucket, MA 02554

Best place to watch the sunset, and lot's of funky mid century cottages to peep at. Great bike ride with lot's of really nice nature preserve pull overs on the way out. Will be very quiet this time of year.

Nantucket Bookworks

Nantucket Bookworks

25 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 228-4000

Need a "beach read?" Head to Lucy's summer employer throughout high school and college. A wonderful independent book store. Check out their partner store Mitchell's Book Corner on Main Street as well.

Sayle's Seafood

Sayle's Seafood

99 Washington Street Extension, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 228-4599

Order a fried seafood platter for lunch or dinner and take a walk in the creeks right in front of Sayle's. One platter feeds two people! (It includes chowder, fried clams, bay scallops, shrimp, and cod, french fries, and coleslaw). A must eat!

Cisco Brewers

5 Bartlett Farm Road, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 325-5929

Just down the road from the farm! Locals & tourists love it so.

Downyflake Donuts

18 Sparks Avenue, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 228-4533

This is the go to for a hangover breakfast. You must have at least one sugar donut, and one chocolate donut. Them's the rules.

Oran Mor

2 South Beach Street, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 228-8655

Romantic bistro for a nice dinner out.

Pi Pizzeria

11 West Creek Road, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 228-1130

Delicious wood-fired pizza.

Provisions

3 Harbor Square, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 228-3258

Great sandwiches: highly recommend the Turkey Terrific.

Fusaro's

17 Old South Road, Nantucket, MA 02554
, (508) 228-4100

A year-round family restaurant.

For all the days along the way
