This is the closest hotel to the venue that we would recommend. It is a stunning hotel with a lovely rooftop pool. We must note that a taxi would be required to reach Tamarit Castle from this hotel.

Flight
Airports
Tamarit Castle is close to two airports, Barcelona and Reus. There is a train from Barcelona Airport to Tamarit, Tarragona and Salou. Tamarit Train Station is quite a long walk to the venue. It is doable, however we would not recommend this. We are flying to Reus Airport for the wedding. Our flight is from Manchester Airport to Reus Airport on the 13th October 202,5, leaving at 06:20hrs. And our returning flight is on the 20th October 2025 from Reus Airport to Manchester Airport, leaving at 10:15hrs. We have also flown into Barcelona Airport to visit the venue for our menu tasting, and this was no problem.

A bus will be available to pick up guests from H10 Salou Princess and transport them to Tamarit Castle. Those arriving on the bus, please be at Hotel H10 Salou Princess at 12:30 ready for the bus to leave at 12:45hrs. This will then arrive at Tamarit Castle for 13:30hrs. The bus will return from the venue to the H10 Salou Princess with one bus leaving at 10:00pm and then another at midnight. The venue will be able to call for a taxi if needed. If you do wish to travel on the bus, please let us know when you RSVP so we can confirm numbers.
Travel Note
Car
For those arriving by car there is plenty of free onsite parking, however unfortunately cars cannot be left overnight. They will have to be moved at the end of the wedding.

Train
The nearest train station to Tamarit Castle is Altafulla-Tamarit. There are regular trains from Barcelona through Altafulla-Tamarit to Tarragona and Salou.
