Maid of Honor
Anna Grace and I have been best friends since I moved into our old neighborhood in second grade. While we didn't go to college together, we made sure to live together when we moved back to Atlanta to start our careers. She was a great roommate, but the best friend.
Best Man
Harry and I met in 7th grade Lit class and have been inseparable ever since. When Lucy was meeting Harry, I said "if this doesn't work out, we won't work out". Luckily Lucy and Harry are almost as fast of friends as Harry and me.
Bridesmaid
Mary and I met freshman year of college and stayed in touch through various organizations on campus. We became close senior year after Mary introduced Matt and I at a party. Mary and Matt have been friends since freshman year of college. Two years later, we returned the favor and introduced her to Harry Campbell, the best man.
Groomsman
Zack is the oldest Danielak child (by a minute!). He has always been a big brother to look up to both literally and figuratively as he is about an inch taller than me. He is the first of us to do many things include move out of the state of Georgia to San Francisco where he currently thrives.
Bridesmaid
Mimi and I met freshman year of college in the back of a pick up truck on the way to a concert. It took Mimi a while to warm up to me, but I won her over. We lived together for three years in college and made so many memories on Lumpkin.
Groomsman
Nick is a twin to Zack but you'd be remiss to describe him as anything other than singularly individual. He blazes his own trail and pursues many hobbies. I've learned a lot from Nick but I'll never know as much because he is always learning too.
Bridesman
Chris and I have been friends since kindergarten where we were in the same class at Paideia. We spent our afternoons in aftercare in elementary school, the commons in middle school, and the gym in high school. Chris and I were each other's first boyfriend and girlfriend in seventh grade.
Groomsman
Stephen and I met halfway through Roswell High School. We've both changed over the years as anyone does. These days I couldn't have a kinder person by my side. Stephen has started his own journey in Nashville TN marching to the beat of his own drum as per usual.
Bridesmaid
Jane and I were freshman year roommates, which I infamously got her to agree to while she was taking pain medication after a wisdom teeth removal. Thank heavens she agreed and we started the greatest community in our tiny Myers room and up and down the halls. We stayed in Athens for grad school when most of us graduated and lived together again.
Groomsman
JR and I met in Harry's basement, my second home. He's my only really successful friendship with someone who didn't go to my high school. Little did we know that night that we grew up only a stone's throw apart. During college we swapped trips to Athens and Milledgeville. Now we do the same with Atlanta and Duluth
Bridesmaid
Hailey and I met before school even started freshman year of college and bonded instantly over our knock off shoes and relaxed attitudes. Even though she left me for another school after just one year, we visited each other often in college. Matt and I make biannual trips to Charleston and always make sure to see Hailey and Whit.
Groomsman
Maceo and I met towards the end of our time at UGA, right around the time I was getting to know Lucy. I would describe him as someone going through life with his charisma set to 10. Like Ferris Bueler, but real and cooler. Whenever he's in town he always makes time to come see Lucy and me. Maceo is a guy everyone wants in their life but only so many are luck enough to have.
