We both remember stories of the other from college. Mostly kind hellos, how are yous, the kind of conversations that neither of us expected to turn into 'I dos'. After college, when we both moved to Newport, we started seeing each other quite often, and our friendship grew greatly. One evening when we were out at a Newport favorite, Malarkys, a friend of a friend asked Lucy to introduce them to Jordy, so she did, of course, and they ended up talking much more extensively than usual about family, values, and a more in depth conversation than they were used to. It was that moment that Lucy realized Jordy couldn't talk to this friend of a friend, even for another second. From there, Jordy ended up asking Lucy on a dinner date, and the rest, as they say, was history. Our love is something special and big, and we are hoping our wedding will reflect just that - a magical, special, and big night full of friends and family. Our gratitude for life, each other, our families, and our friends is not something we can even begin to put into words, but we are hoping that through our wedding and time with you all, we can show you a bit of what that means to us.
