Our forever starts here!

Jonah and Lucy first met at church during youth group. Lucy was in eighth grade and Jonah had just became a freshman. Lucy saw him walk into the room and leaned over to her friend, whispering "he's cute!" But Jonah only saw her as a friend. Months past and neither of them really talked to the other until the week of summer camp. They both started sharing little thing about themselves during camp and Jonah taught Lucy how to play chess. After camp Lucy and Jonah continued to text and then started sitting next to each other in youth group. Eventually Jonah told Lucy that he liked her and she said she liked him back but that she couldn't date for seven months until she turned 16. Jonah said he would wait for her until she could date and he did. Lucy and Jonah became best friends during those 7 months, hanging out, talkings, laughing, and counting down the days until they could become official. Finally November came and on Lucy's birthday Jonah asked her out on a date. He took her to her favorite coffee shop and then to a gazebo that they called "their spot". At the gazebo is where they became official. Jonah and Lucy have now been dating for 2 years and have been engaged since December of 2025. They have learned how to do relationship from a distance during the summers, how to push each other to grow, but most importantly they have learned how to keep their love for God in the complete center of their relationship and plan to do the same into their marriage. They are both so excited to get to share the love they have for each other with you!
