Flight Suggestions

Flying into Athens and taking a Ferry over to Naxos seems to be the cheapest option so far however it seems you can fly into Naxos but at a price. Where in the world are Jesse & Lucy... We will be flying to Athens, Greece first for a little alone time June 5th-8th. We then meet up with Lucy's sister and family for June 8th -12th. We are then travelling to Naxos on the 12th and flying back to Boston on the 18th. If your itinerary matches up with ours in Athens, Let's meet up!

Naxos, Plaka Beach

There are multiple affordable Airbnb's or hotels in the area of Plaka beach. Just make sure you are renting on Naxos and not another Island because there are other "Plaka's" in Greece!

Getting around the island

They do suggest you rent a car while on Naxos however if that is not your jam there is public transportation around the island. You could also rent scooters for a day /week. The owners suggest renting SUV of sorts to get to where we are staying at Villa Folia. It is a new build and the terrain is a bit rocky.

Ferry to Naxos

The Ferries are a common way of getting from island to island and run often. The Ferries are also a great way to see the Aegean Sea. The Ferry arrives and departs from Naxos City where you can also rent a car. Ferry is a 4-5 hr ferry ride to Naxos
