Seasonal direct flights may be possible and many flights are routed through Miami International Airport (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL).

If your air travel lands you in Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or Miami (MIA) driving US 1 is definitely recommended, but if you would rather ride and take in the views Keys Shuttle offers daily group and private transportation between FLL and MIA and Key West.
