It's not hard to see why Shakespeare set his famous play, "Romeo and Juliet" in fair Verona. Though the characters are fictional, at Juliet's House, you can imagine the star-crossed lovers there declaring their affection for each other in secret.

If (like us) you're a fan of beautiful churches, Verona is the place for you! Apart from San Zeno, San Fermo Maggiore (pictured), Santa Anastasia, and Santa Maria in Organo are some of our other favorites.
This bridge is one of many that crosses the Adige River, which runs around the city of Verona. The ancient Romans completed this one in 100 BC, making it the oldest of all the bridges in Verona.
