We met through mutual friends in 2016 in McDonalds! Brad ordered fries and she ordered a lemonade but to Brad's surprise, this was for her to pour her WKD (alcohol) into. After a quick bite, (for her a pint), he wanted to impress her, so he decided to climb on top of a bus stop. The whole thing sounds very strange, but we look back and laugh and we wouldn’t change it for the world! We continued to stay friends for 3 years until we decided to take the plunge and navigate out of the friend zone. And the rest, as they say, is history!

She made the first move. He thought about it. She was brave and took the opportunity.

It was February 14th, Valentine's Day - Brad asked Lucy to marry him. For those of you who don't know, we love escape rooms, so he thought there was no better way to pop the question! It was all set up that as we finished the escape room, she would listen to the radio that gave her the last clue to escape, but instead of hearing the regular clues, she heard his voice instead and was told that she had to answer one final question. At this point he got down on one knee and asked the all important question. She of course said yes, but also asked if we had completed the room in time as she didn’t want to lose!
