Question

The bride has a peanut allergy -- What should I try to avoid prior to the celebration? The bride has a peanut allergy -- What should I try to avoid prior to the celebration?

Answer

We ask that you avoid anything that contains peanuts as an ingredient the day of the wedding. The bride's allergy is airborne and can be triggered by lingering peanut dust. Some examples are granola that might come on a parfait, a granola or protein bar, Pad Thai, etc. If you happen to eat peanuts the day of the wedding, we ask that you please change clothes before coming to the ceremony out of an abundance of caution.
