We met a little over 6 years ago at Rice University. We bonded over our love for the water after crossing paths at the pool where we worked as lifeguards and swim instructors. After graduating college, I started medical school, and we moved in together. And because medical school wasn't stressful enough, I decided I wanted a puppy. So Ben patiently took care of our dog, Leela, and waited for me to finish medical school. On May 22, he proposed. I said yes and here we are :). We are looking forward to the next step of our lives together IN CHICAGO!! 

We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends in our lives. Y'all have been there for us every step of our relationship, and we really wouldn't be where we are today without each and everyone of you. We are looking forward to what the future holds for us and can't wait to celebrate this next step with our family and friends!
