What is an “unplugged” ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you silent your phones and please don’t take any photos during the ceremony! This gives our professional photographer the best chance at getting amazing photos. Take all the photos you want at the reception, though!

What will the weather be?

Warm! But the reception will be indoors.

What time should I arrive?

We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes before the posted time (4:30) to allow for everyone to find their seats.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We ask that you only bring a +1 if this is specified on your invitation.

Will food be provided?

Answer

Yes! We will serve cookies, coffee, and cocoa for cocktail hour. Dinner will be served no later than 6:45. Italian will be catered. We will also serve wine, champagne, beer, and mike’s.

Can we post photos on social media?

Answer

Yes!! We’d love if you used our hashtag, #suddenlyshearer, but only after the ceremony has finished.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yep! Most parking is available at the Mexican restaurant next door.

Will alcohol be present?

Answer

Yes. We will provide wine, champagne, beer, and mike’s. A bartender will be present, as will non alcoholic drinks. Please drink responsibly and uber if necessary!
