The day we met, we were both working on separate ambulances and had just finished dropping our patients off at Presbyterian downtown. I was outside by my truck cleaning the gurney when he passed by me. I was nervous and the only thing that came out of my mouth was, "suh dude." He giggled and said the same. That's pretty much when thought, "okay, this could be something."
The day Josh proposed to me was a complete surprise! I had a photoshoot planned with my best friend Erin up in the foothills. She inherited a camera from her mother that she said she wanted to try out. Josh asked if he could tag along. I thought nothing of it and said, "sure!" We found a nice spot to take some photos near a large boulder that gave us a beautiful view of the mountains. Josh told me to look out into the distance and asked if I saw "that big white thing." I was getting frustrated because I couldn't see what he was pointing to. He told me to turn around and when I did, he was on his knee asking me to be his forever and I said "YES!"
