The story begins in June of 2015 at Lake Champion YoungLife camp in Glen Spey New York where John and Nicole first met serving on Summer Staff as volunteers. John served as a cook while Nicole served as a lifeguard. For John is was love at first sight but at the time Nicole was focused on pursuing the Lord and being truly satisfied in Him with out the distraction of dating. Leaving summer staff in 2015 the two kept in touch as friends. Six years later Nicole finally fell for the way that John endlessly pursued and cared for her through their friendship. After Nicole visited John in PHOENIX AZ in 2019 the couple started officially dating. A little over a year later on July 5th 2020 John got down on one knee at the Dallas botanical gardens and arboretum to ask Nicole if she would spend the rest of her life with him. Obviously she said YES and the rest is history! 💋🍾
