Depends how much you like cars and what kind of trip you want to have! Telluride is tiny and one does not need a car to navigate it, plus the gondola is free. But if you want to make your journey about more than our dumb wedding, Colorado is spectacular and a car unlocks too many possibilities to list.

Answer

Drink water, etc. Take your time adjusting. Everyone reacts differently. Do some Googling. Drink some more water. And keep in mind that alcohol will be far more intoxicating at altitude.

Where should I stay?

It doesn't really matter, but we recommend booking as soon as possible. As long as you're in the Town of Telluride or Mountain Village, you're a hop/skip/jump/gondola away.

No, we are comfortable running the risk of a Giraffe-Related Incident (GRI) due to the distance between Telluride and Known Giraffe Population Centers (KGPCs), and can share that it has been more than thirty days without a GRI in the Town of Telluride.
