We met the modern way—with a little help from Bumble—but the universe clearly had a hand in it. Both of us had nearly identical photos: peace signs up at the Imagine Memorial in Central Park. One cosmic coincidence later, we were on our first date… and then our second, and our third in three days. From the very start, it felt like fate— the kind with a great soundtrack. We fell in love over record store dates and concert wristbands, good food and belly laughs. Tyler once brought Brianna flowers—Tom Petty’s Wildflowers, on vinyl—and she knew this was the real deal. Now, one of our favorite things to do is flip through crates together, find something interesting, and dance in the living room. We’re partners in everything: writing songs (like Summertime in Philly, which got an honorable mention in the WXPN songwriting contest), going on road trips, chasing birds, and throwing themed parties. From camping under the California stars to cheering for the Eagles in New Orleans, we’ve filled five years with so much joy and adventure. And when Tyler got down on one knee near that same Central Park memorial, surrounded by friends, it felt like the beginning of a new chorus. So now we’re doing what feels right for us—getting married on our five-year anniversary in a retro Vegas chapel, with Elvis presiding and all our favorite people dancing in the aisles.
