WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY AND HOW?

Answer

Please RSVP via our website by October 1, 2021. This is will give us the appropriate head count for food and drinks! You can RSVP via our website by simply typing in the names addressed on your envelope.

I HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY, CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST?

Answer

Yes! Please contact the bride and groom with any requests before the RSVP deadline. Please refer to our “Who should we contact if we have any additional questions?” portion on this page.

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

Invites will be addressed specifically to those who are invited! If your name is addressed on the envelope, you are invited. If you are allowed to bring a plus one, that will also be specified on the envelope of your invitation as “Guest.” For any additional questions, please refer to the “Who should we contact for any additional questions?” portion on this page.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

Although we would love to host all of your children at our wedding, we are choosing to have a wedding free of children. We hope that you will all respect our decision to do so! If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to reach out to either the bride or groom. You can find their contact information under the “Who should we contact for any additional questions?” on this page.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

Attire for the wedding and reception is formal (Black Tie Event). No jeans, please!

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE CATHEDRAL?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 3:00pm. We ask that you arrive no later than 2:45pm to ensure you have time to find your seat. Doors will close promptly at 3:00pm and you will have to wait to enter till after the ceremony.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS AND/OR POST PHOTOS OF YOUR WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Answer

We ask that you please refrain from using your phone or camera during the wedding; it will be an “unplugged ceremony.” You are more than welcome to take pictures, post and share photos from the reception. Don’t forgot to use our wedding hashtag! #LuckyInLewis

DO YOU HAVE ANY HOTEL RECOMMENDATIONS?

Answer

Yes! Please refer to the “Travel” section for a list of hotels close by the venue for you to choose from. We will have a block of rooms at both hotels listed.

IS THERE PARKING FOR THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

Answer

Yes! There is parking for both. Please see the "Travel" section for more details.

WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE HOTELS TO THE CEREMONY/RECEPTION?

Answer

No, there will not be any provided transportation from the hotel(s) to the wedding venue. Luckily, the hotels and venues are all within walking distance! If weather does not make walking ideal, there is Uber and Lift available! See the "Travel" section for more details.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

Yes! Beer/Truly Seltzer and Wine is on us. There will be a cash bar for liquor.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN FORT WAYNE, IN NOVEMBER?

Answer

Sunny and 75 is what we wish for :D However, it is typically in the 50's. We do see some lake effects as well, so make sure to bring extra layers and an umbrella!

IS THE WEDDING INSIDE?

Answer

Both wedding and reception will be held inside. The Cathedral is only a couple blocks away from the Courthouse.
