Once upon a time, in the wild bachelorette days of 2019-2020, Kitty was living her best life and swiping left on Tinder like a pro. In fact, she swiped left on Allan not once, not twice, but seven times! (For those not in the know, swiping left means "no thanks.") But destiny has a funny way of working. On the eighth sighting, Kitty's thumb had a change of heart, and she swiped right. Thus, in 2020, amidst the Covid craziness, Kitty and Allan finally matched and met in person. Their first date almost didn't happen because Allan was running late, but Kitty decided to give him a chance. Over the next hour, she grilled him with the toughest questions: "Do you have a credit card?" "What's your credit score?" "How well do you get along with your family?" "Do you want children?" "Do you want to buy a home?" "Do you drive and do you have a car?" "Can you speak Cantonese?" Allan, to his credit, answered them all truthfully.
