Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 30, 2019 and no later than that PLEASE!! : )

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes. Just please specify any kids on the RSVP section of the website. Thanks!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

No later than 7pm, please! We will start at 7, as we want a sunset ceremony and everybody to look amazing for pics afterwards so DON'T BE LATE! ; )

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

IMPORTANT NOTE: Fam and friends, our strategy on this has changed. Since most of you are staying in Airbnbs all over the area and not in the hotels, getting a shuttle was not really an option. As a result, you are all on your own to get to the ceremony. Taxies need to be booked same day or before but WELL IN ADVANCE of 6pm. The good news is we drove around during our visit to see where hotels and airbnbs were and everything is within walking distance at a time in which it shouldn't be too hot, so walking will not be a bad option. That said, for safety purposes, Elan and I have reserved 2 taxis from 12-4am to give rides home so you don't walk home inebriated or exposed to other drivers at night/in the dark. Let us know if you have any questions.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is some parking in front of the venue but keep in mind it's VERY limited. Essentially all of your places are walking distance and Elan and I will have dedicated taxies between 12-4am to take you to your hotels and AirBnBs at the end of the night, so keep that in mind too.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We've reserved a number of rooms at nearby hotels and got are working to get discounts at others. Check out the Travel section on the website for more details.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there is a welcome reception on Thursday, September 5 and a beach party the day after the wedding on Saturday September 7. Check out the Schedule section of the website for more details.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No, come casual, comfy or wearing whatever keeps you fresh and fabulous! We encourage flip flops or no shoes while on the beach during the ceremony. However, shoes should be worn during dinner and party for safety reasons. #safetyfirst #Icallkichel

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will be serving dinner via different stations (salads, meat and pasta options). There are practically no foods served at the wedding with nuts. Any exceptions (one dip and 1-2 desserts) will be appropriately signed. We've taken note of everyone's allergies that made them known and devised a menu especially tailored for that. Please email us if you have any other questions or concerns. Thanks!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We didn't register anywhere as Elan and I recently moved to London and have been working on establishing a pretty cozy home. However, and although not expected, if you want to give us a gifts, we have a Honeymoon Adventure Fund on the Registry section of the website. We are excited to plan our next adventure to Vietnam, a country neither of us has visited before and are both dying to explore. Check it out and let us know if you have any questions.

Question

Anything special I should bring/consider?

Answer

Yourselves is enough...but here are some things to consider depending on what kind of traveler you are. Bugs aren't too bad on the island but bug spray wouldn't be a bad idea if you get bitten a lot. Flip flops, a must obvi but also tennis shoes or good walking shoes if you plan to explore a bit. There are lots of trails and walks to do if you feel adventurous. Sunscreen is pretty easy to get on island and not too expensive but if you're a snob about what you use, then maybe bring your own. Shades for the sunny days and an excitement for the beach and good times! See you all SOON!!!
