Important Info/ FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

It is SUPER Important to make sure you arrive approximately 20-25 MINUTES PRIOR to the ceremony. The road leading up to the venue will be Closed once the ceremony begins, so no vehicles will be allowed up until after the ceremony ends. Should you be late, you'd be welcome to attend the cocktail hour and reception, but would definitely miss the ceremony.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi Formal/Formal Garden Attire: Tuxes & gowns welcomed! Cocktail dresses, fancy sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and other fun elegant spring attire welcomed. We're going for a bright, fun yet elegant spring wedding, so please dress to impress! The ceremony will be on grass & the reception will be on a paver patio, so we'd advise wearing chunky heels or flats instead of stilettos PLEASE DO NOT WEAR THE FOLLOWING: White/ivory/cream outfits, jeans, sweats, sneakers or other super casual attire.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to venue & budget limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests named on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding & look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we are unable to accommodate children outside of the wedding party. For those coming in from out of town, our wedding coordinator has connections and can help us set up a local sitter as needed. We look forward to a night of dancing & fun with you!

Question

What date do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request you RSVP as soon as you possibly can so we can prepare appropriately. Our vendors require our final guest count approximately 6 weeks prior to the wedding so we're asking guests to submit their RSVP status no later than February 23rd 2026. Please Note: Should we not receive a response from you by our vendor's deadline, while we will be sad not to see you, we will have to take that as a decline to our invitation.

Question

Where are you registered/ should we bring a gift?

Answer

Your company is truly the best gift we could ask for! If you'd like to contribute to our future, the details are on the 'Registry' tab of this website. Because we're prioritizing experiences over things, we would be incredibly grateful for any contribution toward our dream honeymoon, where we plan to explore Europe including an opportunity to explore our shared heritage in Scotland! Our preference is for contributions to our dedicated honeymoon funds or cash gifts over physical items. For those guests who still prefer to give a tangible present, we've included a small selection of physical items we'd love for our home.

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

We've arranged a block of rooms at both the Hampton Inn & the Holiday Inn in Culpeper. There will be shuttles to and from the venue on Saturday from both hotels. Should you prefer another option, there are a bunch of really nice AirBnb rentals in the area as well as a few other hotels.

Question

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes! We plan to have a casual welcome party on Friday night so we get a bit more time with all of you. We don't have ANY details on this event yet besides it will likely run from 7-9pm and be pretty laid back. We will update the website as we develop more solid plans.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking on site for those who'd like to drive. We have a shuttle running for those guests who choose to stay at either the Hampton or the Holiday Inn where we've set up discounted room blocks. Please check the Travel tab for more information.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests be fully present and enjoy the moment with us by refraining from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We've hired an excellent team who will be recording it all for us at length & we will happily share those with you all once available. Once the ceremony is over, please feel free to take any photos you'd like! We'll have a QR code you can scan to add any pictures you take to a community photo album.

Question

Can I post photos on social media?

Answer

Yes, please tag us and use our hashtag: #LuckettInLove26 —we’d love to see your pics! We will also have a QR code available to be scanned where photos can be uploaded to a community album.

Question

Will there be food served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We'll have a bunch of delicious passed appetizers during the cocktail hour, a buffet style dinner and assorted amazing desserts. From our tasting experience with the caterer…it should all be amazing food!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have open beer & wine along with 3-4 pre-made specialty cocktails. We will also have an assortment of non-alcoholic drinks for those who don't drink!

Question

Will the main Saturday events take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Should the weather permit, the ceremony will be outside in front of the Manor house. If it's raining, the ceremony will be in the ballroom. The cocktail hour will be a blend of indoors and outdoors. The Reception will be in a clear tent on the back patio of the venue.

Question

What will the weather be like in the area at the time of the wedding weekend?

Answer

In early April, the weather in Culpeper, Virginia, is warming up with average high temperatures around 64-74°F and average low temperatures around 41-50°F. It typically brings sunny days, with the sky being clear or partly cloudy for about 11.5 hours daily.

Question

Should I bring my gift to the wedding or send it to another address?

Answer

Either is fine by us! We will have a gift table and a box for cards/cash gifts at the reception. We're driving to the wedding so we will have room in our car for any gifts brought to the wedding. If you'd prefer, you're also welcome to simply mail to our home address at 1456 Autumn Knoll, Hermitage, TN 37076

Question

What’s the wedding hashtag?

Answer

#LuckettInLove26

Question

I can't attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

For those who weren't aware, we met on Tiktok through a mutual friend's livestream. It seems only fitting to livestream our wedding on Tiktok for all friends we are unable to invite & those unable to attend. Logistics will still need to be worked out but we should have a link available to the account we intend to use for the Livestream once it's been decided. We will also have several videographers on site the whole evening so we'd be happy to share highlight clips with anyone who would like to see them afterward.

Question

I still have questions — who should I contact?

Answer
