Wedding Party

Meet our amazing friends and family that will be walking down the aisle with us!

Alec Creech

Groom

The Groom to be! Alec and I first met at one of the high school parties that Luke would throw. Kaley first invited me to one of these parties all the way back in 2015! This is when I would be introduced into the whole friend group we are blessed to have today. Alec was and still is caring and goofy. He still loves to tease and get on my nerves as a form of his "love language" as he did back then, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Like any great love story, it started with underage drinking in the woods, to hanging out and talking on the phone. Once I was done moving back and forth from Charleston, to eventually moving in together and getting married. This story is over a decade in the making and we are only getting started. I can't wait to meet you at the end of the aisle and begin the rest of our lives together.

Taylor Lucius

Bride

The first time I saw Taylor was at Luke’s high school party. I was dating someone else back then, and she happened to be best friends with Luke’s girlfriend at the time. I told Luke he had to help a man out and make a connection happen — and somehow, the next day, I ended up with her number. I started teasing her over text, joking that we’d kissed at the party (she knew that didn’t happen). Somehow, from that ridiculous start, we kept in touch. Once we both were single again, she texted me out of the blue. I honestly thought she and her friends were trying to mess with me, but she actually wanted to hang out. We went on a couple dates and then eventually she moved to Charleston. A while later, she came back and asked me to go out for her birthday downtown — and from that night on, we’ve been together ever since. Once she came back to me for a second time, I guess that’s all it took to know she was the one.

Luke Dasher

Best Man

Luke has been my main buddy since we were kids. I’d show up at his house early on weekend mornings to drag him out for fishing, riding four-wheelers, climbing trees — whatever we could get into. He was always grouchy about getting up early (still is), but he never turned me down. What always set Luke apart was how comfortable he was around my family when most of my friends weren’t. That stuck with me and made our friendship something special.

Madison Lucius

Maid of Honor

Maddie or as Alec calls her "Mad Melon" is Taylor's little sister. Maddie has been instrumental in planning the events leading up to the wedding and the actual wedding itself. Maddie is my "built-in-bestie" as we called ourselves and someone I cannot imagine going through this without. While we fought like cats and dogs growing up, in our later years we couldn't find anyone that could relate quite like could. Whether dealing with our funny crazy families or retelling her own questionable funny/crazy interactions, she always shows up when its important. Like her sister, she always tells the brutal honest truth, as we have yet to learn the art of sugarcoating, but wears her heart on her sleeve. She is always thinking others and is an amazing and beautiful person at her core. Everyone needs a Maddie to have their back and look after them.

Kody Oneal

Groomsman

I met Kody through Luke, and from day one he was the kind of guy you instantly trust. He’s the friend who’d literally give you the shirt off his back — if there was anyway he could help, he would. Always quick with a joke and full of energy, Kody’s a genuinely good-hearted dude who makes life better just being around. The past few months we’ve gotten super close — feels like I see him more than my own family at this point. He’s someone I look up to a lot and couldn’t imagine this day without.

Kahla Jones

Bridesmaid

Kahla and I met back in middle school. Our friendship began a little differently than my other friendships but because of that it meant so much more to me. While to my core I was a bit nerdy and loved gaming, I never really let that side out with my other friends. Getting together for our sleepovers required a bit of preparing. We needed loads of snacks, a 12 pack of Mellow Yellow and the scariest co-op Xbox game that we could get our hands on, usually this was Aliens. When we weren't trying to survive in space, we would attend the same youth church together as we had pretty similar family backgrounds and bonded through that also. I think nothing will top my favorite memory though of us hanging out. We were pretty big horror fans and whenever my family asked what I wanted to do for my birthday, I always said I wanted to do the Haunted Horror Night at Universal as birthday was around the time of Halloween. But this year they let me bring a friend, so I invited Kahla. We were so excited because this year it was Walking Dead theme. To say Kahla is easily scared is a bit of an understatement. Once we went through the haunted house I had a new arm bruise detailing how her hand wrapped around my arm, even getting the finger details! I think I almost peed myself that night from laughing. Like that iron grip she had on my arm, she holds onto her friends close no matter what. She is constantly tending to others needs and in all is an amazing and loyal friend no matter where you are.

Justin Dasher

Groomsman

Justin is Luke’s older brother, and while Luke and I were all about being outside, Justin was my go-to gaming buddy. He’s the computer and gaming guy of the group, which brought out that side of me too. If I wasn’t out getting into something with Luke, I was probably up late gaming with Justin — long nights of Call of Duty and Halo, full of laughing, yelling, and no sleep. Nothing like those nostalgic days growing up.

Kaley Jackson

Bridesmaid

Kale and I met back in 7th grade or 2012 to tell you how far back ago this was. We met in art class led by a bald, flamboyant, Pomeranian loving teacher; who didn't much care for Kaley and I's art or important conversations. I honestly don't know how to describe Kaley and I's relationship as she is more of an adopted sister. We have fought, laughed, cried and celebrated each other throughout the years. Through Kaley and Charity, I was introduced to many more important people in life, like Alec and Amanda. She has been crucial into building my support system, whether she knows it or not. While Kaley seems to have a tough exterior, she has one of the purest hearts I know. This is due to her fierce loyalty to her friends and family. Anyone that has the privilege of knowing Kaley personally knows she is constantly fussing over others needs and always has a shoulder to cry on or by offering opportune comedic relief when needed, even to her own detriment. She has been vital part of my life and hope others cherish her the way I do.

Hunter Myers

Groomsman

I first met Hunter through rec league baseball, and later through Luke and Kody, which completed our little crew. Hunter’s always been my go-to fishing and hunting buddy. We’ve spent countless days chasing big bass, trekking through the woods, and probably crossing a few fences we technically shouldn’t have. Every trip’s a story, and there’s never a dull one when Hunter’s around. He’s one of those friends who makes any adventure memorable — even when it’s just two of us chasing fish at sunrise.

Charity Churchill

Bridesmaid

Charity and I met back in the good ole times, high school. I was introduced to her by an old friend and we started having lunch everyday in school. Anyone that knows Chair knows she is one of the kindest and most thoughtful people that you will most likely meet in your life. Through her constant consideration and compassion of others she was able to make genuine friendships anywhere she went. I was thankfully was able to call her one of my closest friends as we continued through high school, and later unto our adult lives. We eventually went from high school lunches to Chair being the DD to a lot of the Dasher's parties. As we were not as mentally developed at the time, we just wanted a fun time with our friends. Charity, however, wanted to make sure all of her friends were safe and taken care of. I won't disclose all of the stories here, mainly to save me from some embarrassment, but she always took care of not only me but many others after. She at her core is nurturing, gentle and basically everything you want in a amazing human being. Not so long ago, I was given the privilege to be a bridesmaid in her wedding and now she is not only a beautiful wife but an amazing mother. I couldn't imagine this big day without my sweet Charity.

Ashleigh Foskey

Bridesmaid

Ashleigh and I had the classic brother-sister dynamic growing up — she’d have friends or boyfriends over, and I’d do whatever I could to annoy them. One time, when she had to babysit me, she got so mad she chased me around the house with the cordless house phone, trying to throw it at me. We’ve come a long way since then. These days we actually get along (most of the time). She’s always been there for me, and I’m really lucky to have her — especially on a day like this.

Amanda Yarbrough

Bridesmaid

So here's the thing with Amanda. We knew each other through the same youth church and we went together as a Prom group back in high school, but if you asked either of us to tell you the exact moment we met, we can't tell you. Thankfully for us the exact moment we met, was not as important as the bond and close friendship we share now. I am not going to lie, while I may not know the exact moment we met I do remember the first impression I got from her. I was so intimidated by her! The first couple times we were around each other she was very quiet and observant, everyone would be talking and she would just be listen intently. I would even describe her as stoic, as this didn't come off as rude or people feeling ignored. She would simply listen and considerately nod along the conversation to allow the person the space to speak. As we had more time together, we would talk more and I was able to see her personality more. For those who may have had the same first impression I did, Amanda is one of the most honest, supportive and dependable people I know. We bonded through similar struggles and our friends, and our friendship grew, I also had the privilege to her in her wedding. She alike a lot of my friends is always considering the best thing to do for the people she cares the most. By the time the wedding comes she will also be a mother and I have no doubts she will be an even more amazing mother than one of my closest friends.

Wayne Foskey

Groomsman

Wayne’s been part of my life for over a decade now. He’s been incredible to my sister Ashleigh and my two wild nephews. Wayne’s the guy who always has a funny one-liner or story ready no matter what you’re talking about. I’ll never forget one of the first lake trips we took as a family when he started coming around. We had to share a bed, and the next morning he told me I slept with my head on his butt like it was a pillow — and we barely even knew each other back then! Still cracks me up every time I think about it.

Brendan Glover

Bridesman

Brendan and I "met" in 2014 through my first ever boyfriend that I had at the time. While that boyfriend is gone, B and I have stayed friends throughout the years. The crazy thing is that B and I have never physically met as I met him through Xbox Live. For those that don't know what that is, its basically a live chat for people playing games on an Xbox. We bonded originally over playing GTA5 then but then played all kinds of games when we were able to. We would talk for hours at a time talking about each others lives, the struggles that we were facing or just laughing and joking around, amid gun fire mind you. While I played games before B, he was, of course, always infuriating better then me. He constantly had to carry me in whatever game we played. But he never minded or at least never alluded to it. He has always been patient and a rock solid friend that I could come to with anything I was facing. While we aren't able to game as much these days, due to different work schedules or just life in general, I can't imagine him not in my life or celebrating this huge milestone together. I can wait to finally met you in person this year!

Kira Franz

Bridesmaid

Kira and I first met in 2019 at a house party that Kaley threw. Kaley and I have been friends for a while at this time and she was throwing a birthday party for one of her friends that she invited me to. The birthday guest brought his sister who happened to be Kira. The first interaction we had was making eye contact with each other across the house while music was playing. We proceed to keep eye contact and started dancing towards each other like any other normal human being. That night we connected and talked until more dancing ensued but warped under a joint blanket as we were cold and tired. After that fateful night we started hanging out more on our own and bonded over our holy trio: books, anime, and games. Like most young adults, our lives got busy and we both moved to different places and we didn't see each other for a bit. We reconnected when she was in Kentucky over video games and played pretty much nightly together till eventually she moved back! We have been inseparable since. She has aided my sanity through wedding planning and always had a solution to any problem I come up with. I personally think everyone needs an analytical Capricorn like Kira to ground us!
