Lucinda and William’s story began in January 2024 with a swipe on a dating app, and from the very first conversation, they just clicked. Though they grew up in the same area, their lives couldn’t have been more different. But as they got to know each other, they kept discovering how much they had in common. Shared values, similar upbringings, and a shared vision for the future made it clear they were meant to be. Their relationship blossomed through shared experiences. William and Lucinda began going to church together, running (even completing a half marathon!), and they spent countless hours with each other’s families. They bonded over cooking breakfast after runs, all-you-can-eat sushi, and Lucinda’s infamous love for frozen chocolate-covered bananas—a love William met with a mix of amazement and mild horror at how many she could devour in one sitting. At the heart of their relationship is their shared faith in God. From the beginning, their love has been deeply rooted in their faith, with God guiding them, helping them grow, and blessing them in ways they never could have imagined. Their playful, goofy dynamic makes their bond even stronger—a connection so uniquely theirs that strangers might find it a little odd. Lucinda remembers laughing at her older sister for being silly with her husband, only to realize she’s even goofier now that she’s found her person in William. Falling in love with one another has been a truly effortless and beautiful journey. Though they didn’t expect to marry so soon, they both knew when they’d found the one. They’re thrilled to start this new chapter together and celebrate their wedding day surrounded by the people they love most.
