Both of us were lead to Landmark, (a personal and professional development course) because of different versions of major heartache and breakdown. We both got present to how amazing it would be to be in relationship with someone that was doing the same work. By the end of that year in Landmark, we were both really focusing on our lives and building businesses, networking and fun. We both had let go of trying to find a partner or relationship. Following that time Alex and I both attended a Toni Robbins event alone in Denver. At that event, we were invited to go to a Millionaire Mind Intensive Workshop, a 3 day event. It was at MMI, on the first day, that Alex came and sat next to me. Over the course of those three days, I decided we should probably exchange information for business opportunities. Alex texted me the night the event ended and I realized that we were supposed to know each other. Through a series of text conversations we realized we both were in Landmark, a week apart, for an entire year! It turns out we were going to the same building every week on a different day. We had become friends with all the same people from Landmark. We were reading all the same books...And he was working at one of my closest friends offices in Denver! 😳 We decided to meet the next day at Button Rock Bakery. (The bakery that will now create our wedding cake) I had tea, he had water, and we stayed there for 4 hours talking. We were “friends” for a few weeks, resisting the attraction. I was convincing myself that our age difference was too much. Alex had made a commitment for his internship to not date for a year. Then, one day, Alex did the exact actions that I had told my dad 24 hours prior that I would need to see to recognize that someone was worth dating, in detail, all on his own. And that was it. So, on July 24th, 2018 we kissed for the very first time...And the rest is history. Not even 2 years later we are getting married!

Please know we are watching the evolution of COVID-19 closely and will have the ceremony outside, with distance between guests. Reception will be inside a huge and beautiful ballroom that can fit up to 500 people. (We will have about 60) We will have extreme social distancing. Food will be served buffet style. One table at a time will be dismissed to get food while maintaining distance between. Servers wearing masks and gloves will plate your food while you stand 6 feet away with a mask on. Much like a restaraunt, you will remove your mask when seated to eat or drink. There will be distance between guests at the tables as well. We will do our best to seat you with grouos that kniw each other. You can wear masks the entire time if you are more comfortable that way. We will provide masks for everyone. We have found a BEAUTIFUL venue. (Stonebrook Manor) They ensure the safety of all of our guests and take care of all the details for us. We hope that this eases any concerns you may have and truly appreciate that you are able to come! We have decided that we are getting married on this day, no matter what. We also want you to know that you are safe and we are taking into account all that is going on in the world. With all the bad happening, we are getting, now more than ever, that good can also be happening. Life continues on no matter what. Nothing like a global pandemic to make you realize what matters most in life. LOVE is what holds us all up. And we are more in love now than ever before.
