Arrival in Brazil

Lucia and Stenio will be arriving via Recife/Guararapes International Airport (REC) on Saturday March 5th. To ease the stress of travel, we suggest our guests stay at The Grand Mercure Hotel in Recife's Boa Viagem district on Saturday night before traveling to our final wedding destination. (please see Hotel tab) On Sunday March 6th morning, we plan to depart from Grand Mercure Recife to Baia Branca in Tamandare, an approximate 2 hour drive.

Welcome to Tamandare!

Baia Branca is a breathtaking hotel on the sandy beach of Tamandare. The inn consists of 31 rooms on private grounds bordering the ocean. We have reserved this location for our guests to stay on the nights of 6, 7, 8, and 9th of March 2022. Throughout our stay, we will be relaxing by the beach and planning small outings and activities with those staying at the hotel with us. We are looking forward to spending quality time with our loved ones!

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at Baia Branca on March 8th, 2022. The ceremony will take place on grass, and we suggest our guests prepare for warm and sunny weather. Afterwards, we will enjoy appetizers, a buffet dinner, and of course lots of dancing and drinks!!

Porto de Galinhas

On Thursday March 10th morning, we will check out of Baia Branca and make our way to the famous Porto de Galinhas beach. We plan to stay in Porto Thursday and Friday night, enjoying the 11 mile-long beach, natural pools, and night life. Porto de Galinhas offers many charming and affordable pousadas (small hotels). As some may want to leave earlier or later, we suggest that our guests book their own accomodations to ease traveling schedules.
