1991 -I was in the 6th grade and he was a 7th grader at the time. I remember seeing him hanging out with all his popular friends trying to look cool as if he was showing off. It's funny, because we never really talked during high school and eventually we both ended up moving schools. One day six years later we ran into each other at a Walgreens he asked me for my number. He took me out on a date at the movies and we had a wonderful dinner. Before you knew it, within a few months of dating he asked me out officially; and the rest is history.
Oct. 2002 -A few years passed, and as our relationship of love grew stronger we decided it was time to move into a house together. About a month later after we had settled in our home we were hosting a house-warming party so that we could share our accomplishments of our life with family and friends. To my surprise, as I looked into the sky there was an airplane flying over our backyard with a huge banner that read, "Lucia, will you marry me? " as Michael proposed to me. Of course, I said yes.
July 2004 -A year or so had passed and we started planning our wedding hoping to have it by July. Unfortunately due to an unexpected event we had to put our wedding on hold. Life went on and a year later in 2005 we decided on having a family together! Shortly thereafter, on May 28, 2006 we were so happy to bring our baby girl Carmen into this world!
Oct. 2018 -Now, as we have hit most of the general bumps in the road that any relationship and family have to go through, we are ready to tie the knot officially! We are very excited and hopefully our family and friends are able to come and join us as we express our love and continue to live our "Happily Ever After".
