First time Lucia remembers Draven…

8th grade year

Our 8th grade year was the first time I had seen Draven. We would hang out in the same after school group at times waiting on our parents and would usually play football together. The one day I remember specifically was when it was just the two of us after school and we played catch. We never said a word to each other but I do remember his mom stepping out of the car and just staring at me when she picked Draven up. Anyways that was the first major memory I have of us.

The first move

Freshmen year

Freshmen year about a month before homecoming Lucia decided it would be fun to go play some catch before she had to leave with the band for the actual football game. She saw Draven again and they talked a bit, but eventually she had to go back inside to get ready, on the way back she accidentally slipped on some mud as she ran for the football one last time and completely embarrassed herself. Not too long after she went inside though Draven followed her and they talked some more. Anyways it ended with him asking Lucia for her jacket to borrow because he was oh so cold. The following day they agreed to switch jackets again. They continued to make little excuses to see each other leading up to a few days before homecoming when Draven waited two hours after school ended just for Lucia to get out of Color Guard practice. He then brought out the top of a pizza box on which he had written, “Can I Eat Your A** at Homecoming”🤦🏽‍♀️🤣 ( To our parents, if you are reading this I’m sorry). Lucia may have confused him by saying no as she pointed to the sign but then said yes as she hugged him. They continued to “go to homecoming together” even though Lucia had to sit with the band and Draven sat with his friends. They did get to see each other for about five minutes during which Lucia’s mom managed to get some very incriminating photos of them holding hands😱. Anyways Lucia got into a lot of trouble after that…
