We got to know each other while working on the same team and sharing a flat - an interesting start to our love story! Telling our team and friends we were together was a big moment for us. Here’s a photo from that day by the Bosphorus.

Jonny made it his mission to bring Lucia closer to Germany - and German rap and hip-hop became one of our shared loves.

In October 2024, we made the crazy decision to welcome Pommes-Pomeranian into our lives. Jonny was the one who chose her. She grew up in the AIESEC office in Bonn, raised by our whole team.

We met while working together, and it didn’t take long to realize that our favorite way to “get things done” was side by side with our laptops - and each other.

With Lucia’s family an ocean away, we quickly learned to be each other’s family - sharing special moments and celebrating each other’s achievements with pride.

Our time working with AIESEC gave us the chance to travel together with our team.

Pommes joined us on a few of our trips - and on this one, she somehow came home with a very expensive cold.

In July 2024, between leaving Bonn and moving to Berlin, we hit the road in Jonny’s parents’ camper - testing how well we could share one tiny space with a dog in tow.

In August 2024, we settled in Berlin and welcomed a visit from "la moshi" (Lucia’s mom). Jonny wanted us to explore more “German culture,” so off we went to Mallorca, where we bonded over two nights sleeping in a car.

On January 1, 2025, we got engaged in the place where it all began — our shared office, where we spent most of our days together between 2022 and 2024.

Not long after getting engaged, we headed to Lima - celebrating with family, hosting a paella-and-karaoke engagement party in San Borja, revisiting childhood memories at the beach in Chocaya, and, of course, enjoying the Peruvian meat dishes Lucia loves most.

In early 2025, while work was a little calmer, we took a two-week trip to Spain, where we joined Lucia’s cousin’s wedding - and were reminded how lucky we are to be getting married ourselves.

In August 2025, we moved to Frankfurt for work. Once we got settled, weekends quickly became our favorite time together.

On October 1, 2025, nine months after getting engaged and a few German bureaucracy adventures later, we said “I do” in Denmark in a small ceremony. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone in Punta Cana in 2026!
