Travel Note
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Waldenwoods Resort — 975 N Old US 23, Howell, MI 48855. While the celebration itself will take place at Waldenwoods, the majority of the wedding weekend festivities will be happening just 15 minutes north in Fenton, Michigan.
Shuttle
August 29, 2026 9:00 pm - 12:00 am
A shuttle will run every 45 minutes at the end of the night to take guests from Waldenwoods back to Fenton. The shuttle will make stops at both the Fairfield Inn and Comfort Inn. You’re welcome to leave your car at Waldenwoods overnight, but please make sure it’s picked up by 9:45 a.m. on Sunday morning!
Hotel
Join Kate and Jesse at the Fairfield, located just a 15-minute drive north of the wedding venue and an hour’s drive from Detroit Metropolitan Airport. While our room block for this hotel is full, there are still rooms available at full price. This hotel is booking up fast, so if you'd like to stay here please book as soon as possible to reserve your room.

Another hotel option in Fenton that’s slightly more affordable, located just a 4-minute drive from the Fairfield listed above. Flight
We recommend flying into Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) in Romulus, Michigan. The airport is approximately a one-hour drive from the wedding venue. If you’re flying in, we suggest taking an Uber or renting a car for convenience. Most of the wedding festivities will take place in Fenton, Michigan.

Flint Bishop Airport (FNT) is another convenient flight option. This smaller airport is located just 15 minutes from Fenton, Michigan, making it a closer choice if you prefer to fly directly into the area.
