We met on a study-abroad trip to Spain in the summer of 2016. Alex thought, "Mom, I'm finding a husband while I'm there!" Little did she know the man she found would have to come back to the States with her. Cameron was all focused on immersing himself in the culture, enjoying good food and wine. First Date - Alex says that it was night in Spain. There was a local orchestra playing that our school recommended we go to. Cameron being the music man, wanted to go and asked Alex along. After the concert, they went to a local spot for burgers, wine, and killer conversation. We took the long way back to the dorm that night. Taking in so much scenery, culture, and what the city had to offer us that night. We ended the night with a sweet kiss at the door and butterflies in our stomachs. When we knew - Alex knew it from one evening in Spain after maybe one too many glasses of wine. Vividly remember thinking "I'm going to fall in love with this guy." The rest was history to her. Each day Cameron shows up for her and reassures her why he is the one. Taking big life moments together from college graduation, to first big kid jobs, to loss and love. There isn't a better partner to have been placed in her life to show what love means. One night recently Cameron said after making dinner together, "We've got a good life together." Alex replied with, "We sure do!" and Cameron followed with "And we've got forever to keep doing it!"
