Yes we are already married, but we still want to celebrate with you!

Welcome to our wedding website, we can't wait to celebrate our big day with you all! We created this website as an easy way share all of the important details leading up to our wedding. Dan and Emily first met during Dan's second year of ski patrol at Sugarloaf, which was Emily's rookie year. They had lockers next to each other but only worked one day a week together. Unfortunately (or possibly fortunately?), Dan sustained an injury early in the season which left him working in the clinic. On a Saturday in Mid March another unfortunate event occurred, one of Sugarloaf's lifts suffered a massive malfunction. This meant that all hands were on deck to assist with the MCI, so Dan was tasked with calling in all of the off duty patrollers. He luckily used his personal phone to call everyone in and thats when Emily first got his phone number, which she put to good use. Some say that the famous King Pine Rollback was a terrible event, but Emily and Dan chose to find the silver lining and make the best out of a bad situation. Believing that everything happens for a reason. Fast forward 4 years and Dan and Emily left the exciting ski patrol life for the big world of Southern Maine, following new and exciting career paths. Although they love their new jobs, they are constantly pulled back to the mountains. On March 16th, 1 month shy of their 4 year anniversary, Dan and Emily were working ski patrol together and Dan proposed at sweep on one of their favorite trails, Wedge. Sugarloaf has always held a special place in their hearts and will continue to provide a backdrop for more memories in the many years to come!
