When and where is the wedding?

Our wedding will take place on February 27, 2027 at Playa Tropical Resort. The ceremony and reception will both be held at the resort, right on the beach.

What is the nearest airport?

Answer

The closest airport is Laoag International Airport, about a 30–40 minute drive from the resort. Guests can fly to Laoag from Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

How do we get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

Transportation options include: - Pre-arranged resort or wedding shuttle (details to be announced) - Taxi or private car service from the airport - Rental car Travel time from Laoag Airport to the resort is approximately 30–40 minutes.

We recommend staying at the wedding venue: Playa Tropical Resort Hotel We’ve arranged discounted room rates for our guests. Additional hotels in Laoag City will also be suggested for guests who prefer alternative accommodations.

To help make your stay more convenient, discounted rates are available exclusively for our wedding guests. Recommended travel dates

Because of the long international travel time, we recommend arriving 2–3 days before the wedding. Suggested schedule for guests coming from the U.S.: February 23–24: Depart the U.S. February 24–25: Arrive in the Philippines February 25: Travel to Laoag and check in at the resort February 26: Relax, explore Ilocos Norte, and attend pre-wedding gatherings February 27: Wedding day February 28 or later: Depart or continue exploring the Philippines Arriving early also helps with jet lag and time zone adjustment.

What is the dress code?

Beach Formal / Tropical Formal Think elegant but comfortable for warm weather. For women: Flowing dresses or dressy jumpsuits Sandals, wedges, or flats For men: Linen suits or dress shirts Barong (traditional Filipino formal wear) is also welcome Loafers or dress sandals Please avoid stilettos since the ceremony will take place on sand.

February is one of the best months to visit Ilocos Norte. Typical conditions: Warm and sunny Average temperature: 75–85°F (24–29°C) Comfortable coastal breeze Rain is uncommon during this season.
