We live in the high desert - it'll likely be in the mid-to-high 80's during the day and cool down to the 50's at night.
While we adore your children, we've opted for an adults-only celebration to allow everyone to relax and allow the vendors to produce their best quality work. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening/weekend. We have a wedding block at the SCP Hotel in Downtown Redmond (see travel tab). If you plan to stay longer and want to explore other options, there are many great resorts around the region (Brasada, Juniper Preserve, Black Butte Ranch, Tetherow), or The Riverhouse in Bend is great.
The wedding will be semi-formal and we recommend cocktail attire. Yes, we will have shuttles from SCP Hotel in Redmond to Ranch at the Canyons available. Pick up times will be 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm and drop-off times will be 8:15 pm, 9:15 pm and 9:45 pm. If you miss the scheduled shuttle times, you will need to get yourself an Uber to the venue. Ride shares are available in Redmond, but not from the venue in Terrebonne back to Redmond. There is ample parking available on-site if you choose to drive, but please don’t drive if you plan to drink—take the shuttle instead for a safe and stress-free evening. Please use the main entrance on 9th Street & Vineyard Way and not the contractor entrance. There will be signage to direct you.
While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.
Depending on the length of your trip, we recommend flying into the Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM), near the hotel block and about 15 minutes from the venue. If you plan to explore other parts of the state, Portland (PDX) is a great option as well.
