Lucas had all but given up on the dating world when he decided to download the app and message the first girl who swiped right on him - Chelsie! Lucas used a super cheesy pick up line and Chelsie was instatntly smitten. They talked for a month or so before deciding to meet and the rest, as they say, is history! Chelsie and Lucas became inseparable almost instantly. They dated for 8 months before Lucas proposed in the sweetest way at a Christmas light festival at a botanical garden in Richmond, Virginia. How he got BOTH of their entire families in one place at the same time without Chelsie realizing anything was happening is anyone's guess! She obviously immediately said yes and cried in his arms as everyone cheered. It was perfect! Chelsie and Lucas purchased their first home together in April 2018 and added another member to the family, their pup, Kona, in June! They love going on walks, watching crime drama TV shows, and remodeling their home! They're going to Aruba (for the second time) for their honeymoon and they can't wait to celebrate with everyone in May!
