1 day until we become one!

They met at Redeemer Baptist Church in Riverside, CA where both of them were (and currently are) members - Lucas since 2014 and Stephanie since 2013. In June of 2015, after service one Sunday, Lucas walked over to Stephanie from across the walkway where she was sitting waiting for a friend and struck up a conversation.

Lucas, to Stephanie's delight, asked her out for coffee (tea for her) to It's A Grind in Corona, CA constituting their first date together.

Just ten days shy of their two-year relationship marker, Lucas dropped to one knee in the rose garden of the Los Angeles Arboretum & Botanical Garden and asked Stephanie to marry him.
