Shannon and Lucas first met in the summer of 2017 at a bowling alley in Brandon, FL, introduced by close friends who just knew they were meant to be. Over the years, their connection grew through their shared love of family, the beach, the mountains, travel, dogs, concerts and many sporting events. What began as a strong friendship blossomed into something more, and in June 2019, they officially began dating. Each year since, they’ve revisited the special spot on Indian Rocks Beach where their love story began—a place that became a symbol of their journey together. In April 2025, Lucas got down on one knee at that very same beach, and of course, Shannon said yes! Their little family wouldn’t be complete without their beloved beagles, Halie and Buster, who bring endless joy (and chaos) to their lives. When dreaming up their perfect wedding, Shannon and Lucas envisioned something adventurous, intimate, and surrounded by nature—a celebration by the ocean with mountains nearby. That dream led them to the breathtaking island of Kauai, Hawaii, where they’ll say “I do” in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family.
