We HIGHLY recommend staying in a rental near the venue! There are tons of good options on AirBnb and VRBO right now, but they will fill up quickly! This is the best option for proximity to the venue and most bang for your buck if you stay with a group. The closest hotels to the venue are in Cedar Park, TX which is approximately 30 minutes from the venue (but remember, this is the hill country people!! Expect dark and winding roads at night.) However, if you're interested in exploring the city while you're in town, you might consider staying further out at The Domain or Downtown Austin. Once I have an idea of how many guest prefer to stay in a hotel, I may move forward with booking a transportation service. More info to come!
We recommend flying into AUS, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and renting a car for the weekend! The venue is approximately 50 minutes away from the airport.
The venue is tucked away in the hill country (about 30 minutes from the city), so we recommend renting a car for the duration of your stay in Austin. While it is easy to get an Uber from town to the venue, you might find difficulty calling an Uber for the ride home at the end of the wedding. Additionally, if you plan to explore the city while you're here, you'll likely want to have a vehicle to get around. Check out car rentals at the airport for convenience, or the Turo app for a wide variety of options.
